Support us as we lay the foundation for Persecuted Christians to find safety

Support Sarah Salhotra on her trip to Cyprus and Turkey in Fall 2025. Goal: $3,975:

Help us bring Persecuted Christians to safety

Hi I’m Sarah Salhotra!

I am the Programs Manager for Neighbor the Nations, and I’m thrilled to get to be a part of our trip in 2025. The team will consist of four members:

  • Chris Phillips (CEO and Founder of NtN)

  • Kendall Phillips (Co-founder of NtN)

  • Sarah Salhotra (Programs Manager for NtN)

  • Lauren White (Board Member for NtN).

Purpose of the trip

The purpose of this trip is to establish a sheltering network of partners in Cyprus and Turkey. These partners will expand our ability as an organization to help Persecuted Christians like the F-Family (read their testimony here), as we aim to expand the “Underground Railroad” of the Middle East.

goal

I need to raise $3,975 to cover costs for the trip. Please read the letter from Chris below, and consider giving toward the trip. Thank you for your partnership in this work!

Letter from the CEO

Friends and Family of sarah,

Our organization protects and helps rebuild the lives of Persecuted Christians coming from the most unreached people groups in the Middle East. These dear brothers and sisters have had to flee for their lives because they have come to know Jesus. They are a miracle, and for their decision to follow Jesus and forsake Islam they have lost their families, their earthly inheritance, and their community. Many of their families have even tried to kill them to cleanse the “dishonor”. Some of these Christians we serve have been tortured and imprisoned for their faith and refused to recant Jesus. The Lord has sustained them.

Neighbor the Nations serves the global church to rise up and care for these dear brothers and sisters in extremely vulnerable situations. Some of these families we are working to get to safety in Charlotte, NC. Other Persecuted Christians we help protect in our sheltering network of Christian partners and safehouses along the “Underground Railroad” of the Middle East.

This trip is establishing a sheltering network of partners to protect persecuted Christians in Cyprus and Turkey.

Sarah is on staff with us at Neighbor the Nations and has been faithfully serving over 20 refugees rebuilding their lives here in Charlotte, NC. We need Sarah’s ability to case manage for refugees and more importantly her ability to minister to women. These safe house partnerships will help us serve over 40 vulnerable women and we need Sarah to minister, serve, and build relationships with these women.

Sarah, needs $3,975 to help us establish partners in Cyprus and Turkey. This trip is approved by NtN’s board of directors for the calendar year 2025. Your donations for Sarah through Neighbor the Nations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent.

For the King’s People,

Chris Phillips

CEO of Neighbor the Nations
