Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
Ended July 4 th , 2025 for refugees. Lawful permanent residents (green card holders) remain eligible
The only groups who remain eligible for SNAP are: U.S. citizens, Certain U.S. lawful permanent residents, Cuban and Haitian entrants, Compact of Free Association citizens from the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, and Palau
Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
Refugee eligibility ends October 1 st , 2026
Medicare (Ages 65+)
Refugee eligibility ends January 27 th , 2027
ACA Marketplace (Healthcare.gov, Obamacare)
January 1 st , 2026 eligibility, and subsidies end for refugees
Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA)
Reduced to 4 months from 12 months in March 2025.. No current end date for refugees
